Performance Improvement carries out a series of actions on your website or online shop:

  • It will clean and optimize your database to remove every unnecessary record it finds and speed up SQL queries as much as possible, and it will make sure it is cleaned and optimized every day so that it does not fill up with useless records again.
  • It will tune the WordPress Heartbeat so that no unnecessary requests are made to the web server.
  • It will install and configure the best free caching plugin for your server —LiteSpeed Cache if your hosting runs LiteSpeed Web Server and WP-Optimize otherwise— to make your website load as fast as possible.
  • It will disable WP CRON and create a scheduled task every five minutes on your server so that WordPress cron events keep running normally.
  • It will compress the images on your website to reduce their weight and speed up load times.
  • It will review several settings on your server** to optimize its performance: control panel settings; PHP version, configuration and libraries; MySQL/MariaDB version…

What information do we need?

To be able to improve the performance of your WordPress we need a few essential details that you have to add to the Order notes:

  1. Create an Administrator user and add the full credentials* for your WordPress:
    • The URL of your admin dashboard.
    • Username.
    • Password.
  2. We also need the credentials* for your control panel:
    • The URL of your control panel.
    • Control panel username.
    • Control panel password.

Remember that you have to add all of this information to the Order notes or send it to us by e-mail.

* Every credential APG collects is treated in strict confidence, used solely to deliver the service you bought and destroyed once it is finished.
