APG offers you the simplest, easiest way to sync your orders with Cont4:

  • License management with activation and deactivation from the settings panel.
  • License expiry date visible in the settings panel, with an e-mail warning 15 and 7 days before it expires and on the day it expires.
  • 7 days of grace if the plugin cannot check the license, without interrupting the service.
  • Automatic sending of orders to Cont4 from WooCommerce in the order status you choose.
  • Customer lookup in Cont4 by their NIF/CIF and automatic creation of the ones that do not exist.
  • Support for the free plugin WC - APG NIF/CIF/NIE Field to identify customers by their NIF/CIF/NIE.

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Buy WC - APG Cont4.
  2. Complete the order and the payment.
  3. Download the ZIP file that contains the plugin for WooCommerce.
  4. Install the plugin on your WordPress.
  5. Enter and activate the license generated automatically by APG so you can use and update the plugin.

Handle the invoicing of your orders directly in Cont4.

The settings of WC - APG Cont4 are in WooCommerce -> Cont4 and are split into several sections:

  1. WC - APG Cont4 license: this is where you have to enter and activate your plugin license.
    • License: enter the license that APG gives you automatically when you buy this plugin.
    • Activate/Deactivate: activating the license is essential in order to use WC - APG Cont4. Do not forget to deactivate it if you want to use it on a new website.
    • Expiry date: once the license is activated, here you will see how long it is valid for.
  2. Sync cache: here you can reset the inventory sync cache.
    • Reset cache now: forces the next sync to write the stock of every product again, even if it has not changed in Cont4. Use it after correcting the stock by hand in WooCommerce.
  3. Cont4 access information: this is where you have to enter your username, password, company, BD4 server, Cont4 version and order series.
    • Username: enter the account you use to sign in to Cont4.
    • Password: enter the password you use to sign in to Cont4.
    • Company: enter the code of the Cont4 company you want to send the orders to.
    • BD4 server: enter the code of the BD4 server assigned to you in Cont4.
    • Cont4 version: pick your Cont4 version, Facturación or Gestión.
    • Order series: enter the Cont4 series in which your shop orders will be created.
  4. Custom NIF/CIF field: we recommend using our completely free plugin WC - APG NIF/CIF/NIE Field, which uses the _billing_nif field.
    • NIF/CIF field: enter the name of the custom NIF/CIF field you use. WC - APG Cont4 looks your customers up in Cont4 by their NIF/CIF and, if it does not find them, creates a new customer, so this field is essential for it to work properly.
  5. Custom WooCommerce order status: this is where you can pick the order status at which you want new orders to be created in Cont4.
    • WC order status: pick the WooCommerce order status that will send the order to Cont4. We recommend using the Processing or Completed statuses.
  6. Stock sync: here you can automate the sync of the Cont4 stock with WooCommerce.
    • Update schedule: pick how often you want to update the inventory, from every 5 minutes to once a week, or turn the sync off.
    • Stock update time: if the sync is daily, set the time of day it runs.

Remember that WC - APG Cont4 requires a prior subscription to Shop API4 in order to connect to Cont4.

When an order reaches the status you have chosen, WC - APG Cont4 sends it to Cont4 automatically:

  • Customer: looked up in Cont4 by their NIF/CIF and, if they do not exist, created with the billing details of the order.
  • Lines: one per product, with its reference (SKU), its quantity and its price.
  • Carriage and packaging: the shipping of the order arrives as carriage and the additional fees as packaging.
  • Series: the order is created in the order series you have configured.

Each order is sent only once. If an error occurs, the reason is recorded in the order notes and you can send it again with the Send order to Cont4 button on the order screen, or send several at once with the Send to Cont4 bulk action in the order list.

Remember that the reference (SKU) of each WooCommerce product has to match the item code in Cont4.

WC - APG Cont4 reads the Cont4 stock at the frequency you choose and writes it into WooCommerce. The sync always goes from Cont4 to WooCommerce, never the other way round.

  • Synced products: every published product and variation whose reference (SKU) matches the code of a Cont4 item and is no longer than 15 characters.
  • Inventory management: switched on automatically on the synced products that did not have it on.
  • Cache: so as not to rewrite the whole shop on every pass, only the products whose stock has changed in Cont4 since the last sync are updated.

If you correct a product stock by hand in WooCommerce, it will not be synced again until it changes in Cont4 or until you press Reset cache now.

If the stock of a product in your shop does not match the one in Cont4, check these points:

  1. The reference: the SKU of the product or of the variation has to be identical to the item code in Cont4.
  2. The product status: draft products and disabled variations are not synced.
  3. The units pending delivery: the units committed to customer orders that have not been delivered in Cont4 yet are not put on sale on the website. If your shop orders are delivered without being served from Cont4, those units stay blocked.
  4. Manual changes: if you have corrected the stock by hand in WooCommerce, press Reset cache now for the next sync to leave it the same as in Cont4.

If after checking it still does not add up, you have our technical support at your disposal.

When you buy WC - APG Cont4 you get a license that can be active on a single WooCommerce online shop at a time. To use the plugin on another online shop you first have to deactivate the license so you can activate it again. If you need to use WC - APG Cont4 on more than one online shop at the same time you have to buy as many licenses as online shops you need to manage.

Never forget to activate and deactivate your licenses.

The license of the WooCommerce plugin WC - APG Cont4 that APG gives you with your purchase is yearly, so you will have to renew it every year.

The expiry date is shown in the plugin settings, next to the license, and WC - APG Cont4 warns you by e-mail 15 and 7 days before it expires and on the day it expires.

Get your yearly WC - APG Cont4 license and enjoy its updates for a whole year.

If you do not enter and activate the license that APG gives you automatically when you buy WC - APG Cont4, the plugin for WooCommerce will never work and will not carry out any operation with Cont4 until you enter and activate the license. On top of that, while the license is not activated WC - APG Cont4 will not get any notice of an available update either, so you will not be able to keep the plugin for WooCommerce properly up to date.

WC - APG Cont4 checks the license against our shop periodically and, if more than seven days in a row go by without managing it, it stops working until it manages again, with nothing for you to do.

If you want to keep WC - APG Cont4 perfectly working and up to date, do not forget to activate the license.

WC - APG Cont4 is compatible with every version of WooCommerce 8.0 or higher.

It is also compatible with WooCommerce high-performance order storage (HPOS).

Buying the WooCommerce plugin WC - APG Cont4 includes only the ZIP file needed to install it and the license needed to activate it. Buying the plugin never includes any kind of technical support or help with its installation or setup.

WC - APG Cont4 has been tested enough to be sure it works properly on standard installations; even so, errors may occur on installations that use third-party plugins or that have specific customizations which can cause failures in the native behaviour of WooCommerce.   • Corregido que el token de actualización se pidiera a la tienda en cada llamada en lugar de usar la caché.
  • El plugin deja de funcionar si no consigue verificar su licencia contra la tienda durante más de 7 días seguidos, y vuelve a funcionar solo en cuanto la tienda está accesible.
