The latest plugin for WooCommerce from APG, WC - APG NIF/CIF/NIE Field, is now available to all the online shops built on WooCommerce, and completely free of charge.
WC - APG NIF/CIF/NIE Field has been programmed from the code published in How do you add a NIF or CIF field with validation to WooCommerce 2.4?, which is used in hundreds of online shops in Spain, and in no fewer virtual shops located half way around the world.
Thanks to the release of WC - APG NIF/CIF/NIE Field it is no longer necessary to write a single line of PHP code in the functions.php file of your WordPress themes, since the plugin for WooCommerce will take care of adding the new NIF/CIF/NIE field in each and every one of the forms that exist in WooCommerce, both at user level and at administrator level.
The only setting that has been added is the possibility of selecting whether or not the NIF/CIF/NIE field is validated before it is saved in the database.
The main idea that led us to program this new plugin for WooCommerce is to keep all the online shops updated in the future simply by updating the plugin, and so not to have to go updating the necessary PHP code in each and every one of them, as well as making the task much simpler for all those users who have a low technical knowledge profile and who really do not know how to add the necessary code in their functions.php file.

Enhorabuena por el plugin, sois muy grandes! Solo una cosa, creo que lo valida bien si se rellena el campo pero si lo dejo vacío, valida el formulario también. :(
Si el campo no es obligatorio, y no lo es, obviamente no puede validarse un campo no obligatorio si se deja vacío ;-)

Lo sentimos pero sólo se validan países europeos. Si nos proporcionáis el/los REGEX para validar una identificación argentina o de cualquier otro país no soportado actualmente podemos añadirla para la próxima actualización.

Hola, dónde puedo ver la información de ese campo una vez rellenados los formularios? Los que veo rellenos (todos son obligatorios) en la información del contacto aparecen vacíos. ¿Hay que hacer algún ajuste interno dentro de WooCommerce?
Los datos se guardan en los metadatos billing_nif y shipping_nif. No hay que hacer absolutamente nada.
