The work we did
Online shop built on WooCommerce for Franquihogar, a Basque company specialising in homeware, tableware, kitchenware, gifts and decoration.
The brief
Franquihogar has been in housewares for decades and wanted to sell straight to the end customer, with no middlemen in between. That called for a real shop: an orderly catalogue, payment sorted and clear shipping, and everything else that makes somebody decide to buy from a shop they do not know.
What we did
We built the shop on WordPress and WooCommerce, with the catalogue split into two big families —tableware and kitchenware— plus the outlet. Payment is handled by credit card and PayPal, and shipping is free from thirty euros upwards on the peninsula, which is the sort of condition worth stating before the cart. Around the shop we put the blog and the newsletter with its welcome discount, so that a sale does not depend solely on somebody turning up looking for a saucepan.
The result
A shop of its own from which Franquihogar sells its catalogue to the end customer, with payment and shipping both sorted inside WooCommerce itself.
