The work we did
Multisite and multilingual online shop built on WooCommerce for Gardiun, the storage and organisation company belonging to KOVYX. It runs connected to a3ERP, to ShoppingFeed and to the group’s own developments for shipping management.
The brief
Gardiun sells in several languages and under more than one site, and all of that had to rest on a single shop. The brief was to build it in such a way that nobody would ever have to retype what was already in another system: not the product data, not the shipment tracking, and not the catalogues the company publishes outside its own shop.
What we did
We built the shop on WooCommerce in a multisite, multilingual installation, so that each site has its own language and its own catalogue but all of them are run from one and the same place. We then wrote the automations that exchange information with KOVYX’s own shipping management developments, so that every order gets its carrier, its consignment number and its tracking URL without anybody copying them by hand. And we connected the shop to a3ERP and to ShoppingFeed through a bespoke API and data import processes, so that the information travels in both directions and does not have to be maintained twice.
The result
A single shop holding up several sites and several languages, with shipping, the ERP and the catalogues exchanging information automatically.
