The work we did
Multisite and multilingual online shop built on WooCommerce for Pekatherm, a manufacturer of heating pads, electric underblankets, heated boots, electric blankets, heated wraps and heated gloves.
The brief
Pekatherm was not selling into one market but into three, each with its own language, its own currency and its own rules. Putting them in a single shop means converting currencies on the fly and showing every visitor things they cannot buy.
What we did
We set up a WordPress multisite installation with three independent WooCommerce shops, each with its own language and its own currency:
- International: in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese, with prices in euros.
- Russia: in Russian, with prices in roubles.
- Chile: in Spanish, with prices in Chilean pesos.
Three different shop fronts on one and the same core, which is what makes it possible to maintain them without tripling the work.
The result
Each market with its own shop, its own language and its own currency, all run from a single installation.
