The work we did
Highly bespoke online shop built on WooCommerce for Ruralka, with short breaks, experiences, activities and gift cards tied to charming hotels, country houses, wineries and spas all over the peninsula.
The brief
Ruralka’s catalogue does not live in the shop: it lives in Ruralka Manager, a bespoke development on Laravel built by the agency Gestazión. With hundreds of establishments and experiences changing price and availability, an overnight synchronisation is no good: by the time it runs, the shop is already selling what is not there.
What we did
We built the shop on WooCommerce and developed an API of our own that receives and sends information in real time to and from Ruralka Manager. Products, hotels, spas, wineries, customers, mailing list contacts and orders all travel through it, so that the shop and the manager always tell the same story, in both directions.
The result
Two different systems working as one, with the catalogue and the orders synchronised instantly.
