The work we did
Website built on WordPress out of the original content imported from Drupal for V-Strom On Road, the meeting point for Suzuki V-Strom owners.
The brief
The asset here was the community: registered members, routes built up over the years and benefits that came with being inside. A migration done badly takes precisely that away. We had to move from Drupal to WordPress without losing either the content or the users, and leave the members-only part set up.
What we did
We imported the content and rebuilt it on WordPress, with the routes all over Spain arranged so that they could be searched. On top of that we set up the registered users area, with its offers, discounts and benefits, which is what makes signing up worth the trouble.
The result
A brand portal with an archive of its own and a clear reason to register.
