WooCommerce 2.3 – Handsome Hippo
The new WooCommerce 2.3 has been with us for a little over a week, and up to now we have asked you not to update. The fifth bug-fix revision of WooCommerce 2.3 has just been released, barely a few minutes ago, specifically version 2.3.5, and we think it is now time to lift our foot off the brake.
Do we update?
Yes and no; let us explain.
We already have some shops working with WooCommerce 2.3.5 and we have not found any problem since version 2.3.3 was released; that said, it has to be borne in mind that it is essential that the theme you have installed has been updated by its author so that it supports the changes WooCommerce 2.3 has introduced at customer level, mainly in the Cart, in the Order and in My account. It is also possible that some of the WooCommerce plugins you use is not updated and causes you some kind of error, so it is essential to update all of them and check their compatibility with the latest version of WooCommerce.
If the theme and the plugins have been updated and support WooCommerce 2.3, we recommend you try updating; that said, making a backup copy of the database and of the files of the WordPress installation beforehand. We also recommend that you enable the display of errors to make sure there is not some kind of hidden problem with any of the other plugins that make up your website, and that you put the website under maintenance.
Once you carry out the relevant tests, and hoping that everything is correct, you disable the display of errors and maintenance mode so that your customers can enjoy the new features WooCommerce 2.3 brings with it.
If that is not the case, you go back to the point before the updates and wait for the problems you have detected to be solved.

Buenas tardes.
Ayer actualicé la tienda a woocommerce 2.3.5 y desde entonces los pedidos online no pueden generar facturas.
Cuando intentas generar la factura a través de la opción del pedido, se abre una página en blanco. Al volver al pedido sigue apareciendo el botón para que generemos la factura y sin embargo, la secuencia de la factura si ha saltado. Lo comprobamos en la configuración de facturas, el numerador de siguiente factura ha saltado una o tantas como veces intentemos generar la factura. Curiosamente disponemos de woocommerce POS, un plugin fantástico para la tienda física que sí genera correctamente las facturas.
Me ha parecido que el tema instalado podía tener algo que ver, ya que también se actualizó para que fuera compatible con esta versión de woocommerce. Sin embargo ellos me remiten como un problema de woocommerce.

Lo he podido resolver. Símplemente se ha tenido que actualizar el plugin WooCommerce PDF Invoice a la versión más reciente ya que jústamente presentaba una incompatibilidad con la 2.3.5 de woocommerce..
