Yesterday afternoon a new update of the new WooCommerce 2.2 came out, which makes 3 in less than a week, and that has earned the WooCommerce team a good telling-off from the user community, above all for the improvisation shown in the hasty release of WooCommerce 2.2.0 and the publication, in barely hours, of versions 2.2.1 and 2.2.2, which, as we said in the post WooCommerce 2.2.2, is the first version we were able to install without problems.
WooCommerce 2.2.3 comes packed with fixes of greater or lesser importance to our daily work, including the solution to an XSS security problem detected in the 3 previous versions, which makes it important. It also fixes some problems with translations in multisite installations, with the translation of the order status, with Nepalese rupees, with the encoding of pagination links, image cropping or the name of the countries in the tax settings, to give just a few examples of the many fixes and improvements proposed.
Given that all security updates are always important in WordPress, and given that no major changes are made to the rest of the WooCommerce code, at APG we strongly recommend updating WooCommerce in all your online shops. Remember that it is always important to keep both WordPress and all its plugins up to date in order to keep at bay the security flaws that are detected practically daily.
