WooCommerce 2.2.2

This morning we woke up to the new version of WooCommerce 2.2, version 2.2.2.

With it we have tried updating all our shops and those of our clients and, unlike the previous versions released yesterday afternoon, version 2.2.0 and version 2.2.1, we have not detected any kind of problem with the updates, something we did detect yesterday in both versions, above all the typical blank screen when accessing the WordPress administration panel.

Once WooCommerce has been updated to version 2.2.2 it will ask us to update the database and the Spanish language, after which we will come to the what’s new page. Among the new features, as well as the battery of new features for WooCommerce plugin and theme developers, we find:

• The possibility of making partial or full refunds of orders.
• A new orders panel for managing product lines and totals.
• A new language management system; now only the languages needed in our shop are downloaded and not the whole package with all the supported languages.
• Display of the payment method used on the orders screen.

Among other improvements to security, coupon handling, payment methods…
